A cherry blend with the fruit left visible in the leaf — dark, jammy and a little tart, over a soft base that stays out of its way. The cup is round rather than sharp, with none of the drying edge that cherry flavourings often bring, and it finishes sweet. Loose leaf. Good hot at 90°C, and better still cold-brewed overnight and poured over ice.
In Chinese this is written 樱桃水果茶 and pronounced yīng táo shuǐ guǒ chá.
