Yu Garden Tea
A downy spring-picked base from Fuzhou, scented with fresh jasmine blossom over several nights — the flowers are laid in with the leaf after dark, when they open, and lifted out again by morning. The result is less sugary than a dragon pearl and more floral than a standard jasmine: green apple and gardenia, a silky body, and a finish that stays clean instead of turning perfumed. The jasmine for people who normally find jasmine too much.
In Chinese this is written 春毫茉莉 and pronounced chūn háo mò lì.
