Yu Garden Tea
The scented style of milk oolong: a rolled Fujian oolong finished with milk aroma rather than grown for it, which is what gives this version its forward, confectionery sweetness. Expect cream soda, vanilla and warm butter over a light floral base, with a round mouthfeel and very little astringency. Unmistakable, easy to like and easy to brew — it forgives long steeps and stays sweet iced. The Taiwanese version is a different tea — see our Taiwan Milk Oolong.
In Chinese this is written 奶香乌龙茶·特级（福建调味） and pronounced nǎi xiāng wū lóng chá.
